Pressure Cycle Test System

The proposed system fully meets all the requirements of TESTING. We have divided the system into 2 sub sections:

  • Condenser Section- Condenser testing has been defined in 3 test schedules with Hydraulic Oil as medium. Chamber temperature is ambient. To keep the chamber temperature at room temperature an exhaust fan will be installed on top of testing chamber to disperse the heat dissipated by unit.
  • Radiator Section- Radiator testing has been defined in 4 test schedules with a mixture of Glycol and Water as medium. Preparation of this mixture is in DELPHI scope, however a level transmitter will be fitted in tank which will read the volume with 1.6 % of error which will be 0.75 liters. Fluid will be heated by heating the tube length carrying pressurized fluid using surface heaters. Proper insulation will be done to minimize heat dissipation. Radiators will be kept in a heating oven which can generate temperature up to 150 oC.

Key Features

  • Safety Relief valves will be installed in the circuit to prevent any undesired surge in pressure
  • Temperature will be software controlled and safety limits will be defined such that temperature does not exceed the max value.
  • Testing Chamber window will be made of burst proof glass.
  • All high temperature pressure line will be properly insulated such that no high temperature surface is exposed to atmosphere.
  • Separate Emergency buttons will be present on panel for Radiator & Condenser Unit for emergency shutdown of unit.
