About

The Loading Rig shall be used to test the Multi-channel Power Drive of the aircraft. This unit is also called as Multi channel electro-hydraulic actuator; the detail of the same is attached at enclosure-4 for reference. The loading rig performs following functions and tests on Multi-channel Power drive.

Measurement of force on output link of the Unit Under Test (UUT)
Measurement of linear movement / displacement of output link of UUT.
Measurement of displacement speed of output link of UUT.
Checking the air tightness of UUT under loading or check visually for any leakage of hydraulic oil from UUT.

Applications

The whole rig can be divided in three major sections as shown in proposed Schematic hydraulic circuit Diagram enclosed pt enclosure-1.

Pumping station block- which broadly inclu{es hydraulic oil tank, bank of filters, pump & motor assemblies heat-exchangers, etc.
Hydraulic control - which includes PRVs, dir,ectional valve, pressure & temperature instruments, etc to control and measure variofs parameters of the hydraulic system of the rig.
Loading device- which includes positional ]& constant load hydraulic cylinders, power levers and fixture for mounting the UUT.

Key Features

Pressure transducers of accuracy + 0.2|yo with necessary calibration port shall be provided as per the hydraulic circuit; as part for the measurement of pressure duringoperation. Pressure transducer shall be connected to the DAS and the ieading shall bl read from the computer monitor and it shall have digital indication as well. ihe scale should be in kg/cm'.
Temperature - Temperature sensor of accurac! t 0.6y0 with digital indication to read the working fluid temp in legree Centigrade shall be provided as per hydraulic circuit and reading sha'il also be read from the computer monitor.

Displacement & displacement Speed Sensors Non-contact LVDT (Linear Variable differential Transformer) type Displacement & Displacement Speed Sensors that can measure displacement upto 2SOmm with frequency 1 Hz and speed upto of 380mm/sec with accuracy of 0.017o shall be provided in theloading portion of the rig and same shall be connected to the DAC and the reading shallbe read from the computer monitor.
