Introduction Cryogenic liquid oxygen (LOX) dispensers are critical for safely storing and delivering high-purity oxygen at temperatures below −183 °C. The CRYO-800L-V-Oxygen system pairs an 800 L vacuum-insulated vertical vessel with a towable trolley, enabling easy relocation within hospitals, research labs, and industrial sites. By maintaining liquid oxygen at its boiling point, the dispenser minimizes vaporization losses (≤ 0.45% per day) and ensures on-demand availability for life-support, analytical, and process applications. Design & Construction • Double-Wall Vacuum Insulation: Two concentric vessels—a stainless-steel (SS-304) inner tank and an SS-304 outer jacket—create a high-vacuum annulus, often augmented with perlite or multi-layer insulation, to reduce heat ingress and boil-off. • Structural Materials: All wetted and supporting components are Austenitic SS-304, chosen for cryogenic toughness, corrosion resistance, and compliance with ASME Section VIII and EN 13458-2:2002 standards. • Towable Trolley: A robust frame with lockable heavy-duty casters and ergonomic handles allows safe maneuvering without specialized lifting equipment. Key Features • Self-Pressurizing Coil: A star-finned aluminum coil submerged in the liquid builds vapor pressure, enabling gravity-fed dispensing without external compressors. • Economizer Function: Automatic pressure regulation maintains set delivery pressure, minimizing losses during low-rate withdrawals—critical for intermittent medical or laboratory demands. • Low Evaporation Rate: Boil-off losses are kept below 0.45% per day through superior insulation and economizer control. • Advanced Valving: Extended-spindle Bestobell cryogenic valves, full-port ball cocks (20 NB/15 NB), and dual safety relief valves with diverter ball valves ensure precise flow control and over-pressure protection.
